Overview of role

StorMagic is a rapidly growing company and is looking to grow its finance team with the appointment of an accounts assistant. The role is ideal for an ambitious professional looking to begin or expand their career with varied exposure to all general finance functions. Duties within the role will include:

  • Purchase ledger – checking, coding, inputting invoices
  • Sales ledger – allocating payments and sending out monthly statements;  chasing up overdue payments (credit control)
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations – covering Assistant Accountant absences
  • Standard month-end journals
  • Nominal ledger reconciliations and reports

Qualifications and experience

  • AAT qualified or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working with SAGE 200 accounting software or similar
  • No additional employment experience required, but would be advantageous
