Benore previously operated a standalone SAN with their server environment. Performance was poor and the IT team wanted to add redundancy, beyond the host or SAN level, to the environment. They began to look for a replacement solution that would be easy to use and maintain and that was backed by excellent support services.
Solution
Benore deployed two two-server hyperconverged clusters (one is a test system for research and development and the second is in live production). Thanks to the performance enhancements using StorMagic, all of the company’s resources in the production system now have lightning-fast data access to its databases and applications. There are eight additional VMware-based servers that access the production HCI cluster, which delivers a fault-tolerant, high-performance and maintenance-friendly environment. The solution is managed by the StorMagic WebGUI and VMWare vCenter SvSAN Plugin.
