StorMagic is looking to fill a position of Business Development Representative for our Video Surveillance line of products. Reporting to the CRO, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and problem-solver with demonstrated ability to communicate, collaborate and drive business partnerships to revenue outcomes. The goal of Business Development is to ensure we foster a deep and trusted relationship with our video technology sales team and partners, while simultaneously creating plans that monetize our partnerships in the market. In this “big startup” environment, it is critical that the successful candidate be hands on, roll up their sleeves, get stuff done. This is a job for a doer not a delegator. There is a preference for bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates but not required.

This is a USA based work from home/remote role with occasional travel required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as an overlay for USA/LATAM sales team / main POC for our video products
  • Work with StorMagic internal associates, primarily solutions architects and sales representatives, to support sales and account expansion efforts with key accounts in the field
  • Provide sales support to partner sales teams through training, RFP proposals, technical and administrative information on the video products
  • Create strategic and tactical plans for new business development while guiding the extended sales team in using these plans to maximize revenue and growth
  • Accurately forecast and close sales that align with company goals

 

Requirements of the Candidate:

  • 5+ years of Business Development / Sales in the Video Surveillance market required
  • Able to freely travel internationally
  • College Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Deep experience responding to complex RFP’s for video and video analytics products
  • Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team while demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
  • If bilingual, English communication skills and presentations skills required
  • Knowledge and experience with the Digital Evidence Management market is desirable.
