The Storage Awards 2019, also known as The Storries, hosted its sixteenth annual ceremony last week at the Leonardo Royal City Hotel in London. StorMagic was honored in the “Software-Defined Storage (SDS) Vendor of the Year” category as the runner up to first-place winner, IBM.
The black tie event has become an industry favorite and is well known for its first-class line up, that includes a welcome reception, champagne tables, dinner and opportunities to network and socialize with the biggest names in the storage landscape.
StorMagic was nominated in the “Innovation of the Year” and “One to Watch: Company” categories, in addition to being named a winner in the “Software-Defined Storage Vendor of the Year” category at the 2019 event. Winners are chosen based on votes cast by verified subscribers of Storage Magazine.
StorMagic’s virtual SAN software can be deployed in many ways – as part of a server SAN, hyperconverged solution, on new server/storage hardware or on existing x86 hardware. The software-defined, hyperconverged solution is affordable, lightweight (only requiring 2 nodes) and extremely easy to manage. StorMagic is honored to receive this recognition and looks forward to participating in future Storries events.
