StorMagic is recruiting a new leader to help us grow our demand generation program globally. This high-profile position reports to the CMO and will have an immediate impact on the go-to-market strategy.

We are looking for someone that has a track record of executing killer marketing programs that drive results and has hands-on experience executing through multiple digital channels. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader able to execute in their role while influencing and collaborating across the whole marketing team to maximize our ability to deliver more qualified leads to the sales team to close. This is a work from home/remote role – with some travel expected.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and executing demand generation strategies that drive prospects through the marketing funnel, nurturing leads, and converting through the pipeline to support company revenue goals.
  • Working closely with the rest of the marketing team to align on performance metrics and provide recommendations to ensure a consistent approach to online lead generation.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of paid search including initial planning, implementation (including writing ad copy and working with the website team on landing page copy), monitoring, optimization, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the marketing operations/tech team to ensure accurate tracking of all campaigns, including implementation of tracking pixels, proper attribution of source data; make recommendations for improved software tools as needed.
  • Continuously A/B test all campaigns to maximize ROI and efficiency of our efforts
  • Collaborate with sales to build account-based marketing campaigns (greenfield, land and expand, etc.) targeting key markets and verticals – from concept through execution and tracking results.
  • Set, measure, track and report on lead funnel velocity, marketing attribution and program goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to executive teams
  • Partner with the inside sales team to ensure quality MQL delivery and proper follow-up according to established SLAs. Build a consistent feedback loop and continuously improve and optimize lead hand-off processes.
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing automation system (i.e., HubSpot) to better nurture leads, increase conversion rates to marketing qualified leads – you know how to improve conversions….cold!


Requirements of the Candidate

  • Bachelors/University Degree in Business/Marketing or related field, MBA preferred.
  • Experience with all aspects of the paid marketing lifecycle, including customer acquisition, conversion optimization, abandonment, remarketing, sales, etc…
  • 5+ years experience in a PPC hands-on execution role managing a minimum of $1 million annually.
  • Minimum 5 years professional work experience in marketing demand generation
  • Extensive experience and understanding of the B2B funnel: key drivers, what drives pipeline, and how marketing can accelerate StorMagic’s efforts across each stage of the funnel.
  • Experience hiring and growing high performing teams
  • Must have in-depth experience managing digital campaigns across a wide range of channels including search, display, video, native, social, app, etc
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred), CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Google Analytics, and SEO monitoring tools.
  • Data-driven with experience developing a KPI framework, optimizing metrics, and tracking performance against growth goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to write “catchy” copy for ads and landing pages.
  • Experience working in B2B marketing and demand gen for enterprise software companies – preferably experience with storage, server, virtualization, hyperconverged, video and/or networking industries.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, organized and self-motivated.
  • Be data driven, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
