StorMagic Continues Global Channel Momentum with Expansion Across Asia and Latin America

StorMagic adds resources in Singapore and Mexico City to Support Global Edge Adoption

BRISTOL, England –26 November, 2019– StorMagic®, simplifying storage at the edge, announced today its expansion into the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Latin American (LATAM) regions. Staffing in APAC and LATAM lets StorMagic support and service existing and future customers who are managing growing data sets at small datacenters and edge sites in these regions.

Based in Singapore, Manish Sharma has been appointed StorMagic’s APAC sales director. He brings three decades of channel partner development through his knowledge of the channel ecosystem across Asia. Prior to joining StorMagic, Sharma held senior positions at companies including Citrix, NComputing and Wyse Technology (acquired by Dell). He earned a bachelor of technology degree in computer science from the University of Lucknow.

Based in Mexico City, Jose Huescas has been appointed StorMagic’s LATAM sales director. His experience includes manager roles at companies like Maxta, Cisco, IBM and Lenovo with expertise in hyperconvergence, artificial intelligence, cloud, business analytics and big data. He has a proven track record developing business in LATAM. He earned a bachelor of technology degree in computer science from Intituto Politecnico Nacional – ESCOM.
