A sneak peek at what’s coming soon in SvSAN 6.2 Update 2
StorMagic SvSAN 6.2 Update 2 is coming soon, and in this webinar we will explain and demo the new features it will bring.
Typically, SvSAN customers are using our technology for edge computing virtualization in many locations. This tends to be a large estate managed by minimal operational staff that have many tasks assigned to them. Yet they are also required to keep environments up to date through patching and security policies.
StorMagic has acknowledged this specific pain point and in our drive to further simplify and improve SvSAN, we have introduced a GUI-led, schedule-able upgrade process.
The upgrade process involves pushing a new firmware image to a dual boot VSA and completing a reboot of the appliance to boot into the new firmware.
This new process is designed to make the whole upgrade that much simpler. It also ensures all health checks are completed so that the process is non-disruptive and able to be done either in production hours or scheduled to automatically take place out of hours.
