Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on stormagic.com, what each type does, and how to control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Notice, which explains more broadly how we handle personal data.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies let a site remember things between pages and visits — that you are signed in, what you chose last time, or whether you have seen a message before. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage; where we say “cookies” in this policy we mean all of them.

Your choice

When you first visit stormagic.com you will see a banner asking which cookies you accept.

Only strictly necessary cookies are set before you choose. Nothing in the statistics, functional or marketing categories is set unless you accept it. You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.

You can change your mind at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. Your choice is recorded for 6 months, after which we will ask again. We will also ask all website visitors for their consent again if we add cookies that do something materially different.

The cookies we use

Category What it does Set without consent?
Strictly necessary Keeps the site working and secure: page delivery, load balancing, security protections, and remembering your cookie choice Yes — these are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off
Statistics Tells us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they arrived, so we can improve the site No — consent required
Functional Enables optional features such as embedded video and remembering details you have already given us No — consent required
Marketing Measures our advertising, and allows us and our advertising partners to show you StorMagic advertising on other websites No — consent required

Cookies on our website are used by two external parties. To review the list of cookies, their purpose and duration, please refer to:

Third parties

Some cookies are set by other organisations whose services we use, including Google Analytics. Those organisations may use the information they collect for their own purposes, including advertising on other sites. Their own privacy policies govern what they do with it, and we link to them in the cookie table above.

You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at any time in Google’s Ads Settings, and out of much third-party advertising at youronlinechoices.com. Those controls are separate from the choices you make on our banner.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings, and most offer a private or incognito mode that clears them when you close the window. Blocking all cookies will stop parts of this site from working properly. If you clear your cookies you will also clear the record of your cookie choice, so our banner will appear again.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. Where a change means we are doing something materially different with your data, we will ask for your consent again rather than relying on this page alone.
