What should be handled by onsite IT, and what should you leave to the cloud?

While the public cloud is now a regular component of how we do business, it is certainly not the remedy for every application, workload or environment. Although the public cloud has celebrated major success, on-premises IT infrastructure has also thrived and continues to grow, thanks to the new requirements of edge computing and SME workloads. It seems counter-intuitive that both of these seemingly opposing forces should be expanding and yet, as it stands, that is the reality. This webcast will discuss these dynamics, which applications and use cases will remain in the public cloud, and which will move on-premises within the foreseeable future.

The webinar is hosted by Industry Analyst / Technologist, Tony Asaro and StorMagic General Manager, Americas, Bruce Kornfeld. In it, they explore predictions for the public cloud and onsite IT: how it’s changed so far, what’s next, and how they see the storage landscape changing over the coming years.
